This guy, lets call him Jacob, and I have science and english together. At random times in class he'll just come up to me and start petting my hair. I'll ask him why he's petting me and he'll just say "I dont know" and keep on petting my hair. Jacob also rubs my face. He'll just come up behind me and start rubbing my face (usually its after he pets me). What does it mean and why is he doing it?

Sounds like you have a weirdo on your hands there. Let him know that you are not a dog or some kind of pet. And if he likes you to tell you as normal people do. Besides you don't know where his hands have been before he pets you.

He probably likes you, but he might just be trying to scare you. But if he does like you, it's kind of a weird way to show it! You might want to stay on your tippy toes for a while (be cautious; watch out) and look for any signs of other "weirdness". If you go out with him too soon, you might be looking into an abusive relationship, or a relationship where he only wants you for your body. (In this case, your hair and face)

Sounds to me as if Jacob is treating you like dog...in other words that is what he thinks of you.

maybe he has a mental illness, im not trying to sound insensitive, but there are many ppl with things like schizophrenia or OCD or autism that do the same things, do u know of any thing like that he might have? or maybe his dog just died and he misses him/ her. im not callin u a dog, but when ppl get upset, they act as if it never happend and try to replace it.

Maybe you remind him of his cat and he misses her.Seems like pretty strange behavior to me.I think I would tell him to stop.

sounds like its his strange, weird, kinky way of flirting with u. If u dont like it, u should tell him cuz that could be harrassment
