We are going on our honeymoon in Thailand for 4 weeks. How much should we budget for food and spending each week? We will be staying in Koh Samui for 2 weeks, then going on a tour of Thailand for the other two.

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for tours?

But you can decide that for your self. Don't take a fancy hotel. Find a cheap nice guesthouse with breakfast. That make you come near the culture and friendly people. Use the small food stalls around - taste soo goood. I will say you can get a good holiday for around 1000 bath a day - guesthouse included.
When you go for tour - then go to Kanchanaburi, with River Kwai bridge, tiger temple, water falls, jungle, hill tribes, elephant trekking, rafting, boat trips and a fantastic stunning nature - all settled in one place. Kanchanaburi is located 2 hours driving from Bkk.

Hi, congrats on your honeymoon holiday. I think you have chosen a nice country to spend your holiday with. Especially in Samui. Though things may be a bit more expensive than in other parts of Thailand. Food will be quite cheap, you can budget about 500baht each for lunch and dinner for a good spread of food for couple. Other spending will depend on what you want to spend on. A massage will be about 500baht a person for 2 hours, a spa treatment will be about 1500baht a person. You can ask about couple massage and spa too.

As for other parts of Thailand for your other 2 weeks, I guess Bangkok will definitely be on your itinerary. How about a trip to the north Thailand like Chiangmai and Chiangrai? You can arrange the package with the travel agency while in Bangkok. These places has some nice scenery and places to visit.

Bangkok i Have heard is the best place to shop and spa experences etc massage, facials etc. Booking a tour from your country town is the most expensive way to do it. wait untill your there and get the thi's to take you around instead of the westerners. You can get a flight with airasia dirt cheap if you book your tickets online, the earlyer you book it the cheaper it is.
etc. Because your on the island you will need to go to the mainland, closs by is a place could Surat Thani. A plane from there to bangkok on the 14th of feb, the cheapest is only

as expensive as you want it to be. and as cheap as you want to be too. they have some great food at food stalls that are only 25 baht a dish. they also have places for as little as 200 baht a night. it can get expensive though. much more if you go to the western places.
