LOL...I use to have them growing up but i don't anymore. It's basically all in the way you take care of your hair. They are definitely not fun to have. I see guys with them more and usually, if you brush them, they'll go away, but like I said, it's all in the way you keep your hair.

Good Luck

I used to have the beady beads, but I have seen stop relaxing my hair and that area has grown in. When there once were beady beads is now hair down the middle of the shoulder blades....

It is a bit offensive even though I do not believe that it is meant to be taken negaitively but the following is a explaination:

All hair, no matter what your race, is made up of the same chemical elements. These are carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur. The composition and growth process of hair is the same no matter who you are. The way it grows is the same and the way it breaks is the same. The difference is that tightly curled hair (african american hair) does not allow for a lot of the natural oils to be distributed to the entire hair shaft.

Straight hair does not have the curly stress points, so oils tend to travel the entire hair shaft more easily. With this natural moisturizer, straighter hair tends to more shed rather than break, and has more natural shine.

Oil is part of a hair’s natural protection, you see. Not only does an uneven distribution of oil tends to cause more hair stress and breakage; we also cause damage when we apply chemicals to it. This strips away or alters the natural oils and natural protection, and adds more potential for damage (in tightly coiled hair).

no beady beads here.. but it could be because black hair tends not to be bone straight so there is some curl to it and where there is a lot of friction or benind( like your neck), that area's hair is going to be curlier because of the bending, more prone to breakage( due to friction) and will have a tendancy to be short and not grow long. even if you got a relaxer, it would not grow as long as most of the other hair on your head. but at least it would be straight and blend in with the rest of your hair

I've notice beady beads when my clients constantly get their neck line lined up with the liners. Try letting it grow out and correctly condition your hair.

The reason why we have them is because we have curly hair, and that is the shortest part of our hair, so its nothing it can do but curl up on it self, as far as what you can use is any kind of moisturizer or grease and it will soften it up.
