That would be something to ask your doctor. Does he do blood tests every so often on your thyroid? You could go to an endocrinologist. ...But of course there are lots of people with weight problems with NO thyroid problems.

It could be a few things. You need to watch your calories and you need to exercise. If you are doing these two things, then there are other possible reasons. On Armour thyroid dosage is supposed to be adjusted by Free T4 and Free T3, not TSH. If your doctor is adjusting the dosage by TSH, you are most likely under-medicated. Free T4 should be mid-range and Free T3 should be high in range.
Another thing that could stop weight loss is insulin resistance. The weight gain caused by the hypothyroidism often can cause insulin resistance. The insulin resistance makes weight loss almost impossible. To diagnose IR, get a fasting insulin and fasting glucose. The glucose for IR will be in the upper 90's, but under diabetic levels and the insulin will be elevated. Treatment involves reducing carbs, sugars, and Metformin ER.
Still another reason could be lack of digestive enzymes. I take raw apple cider vinegar before dinner and at breakfast I take a digestive enzymes supplement

If you are taking thyroid replacement for thy cancer, you should not be takiong Armour.
You need to be on a name brand replacement.
Armour has too much variation in active hormone and thyca patients needs to be much more tightly controlled.
Talk to your endocrinologist about this.

have you cut down on calories? Just because you are taking tyroid, doesn't mean you can still eat the way you were, or even more. My friend made that mistake and got over three hundred pounds. She doesn't understand it, helloooooooooooooooooo

This is something that you should be reporting to your endocrinologist, someone who can actually do something about it. And this is not a Cancer question.
