there's this one guy and we're really close friends. but before i met him, he was close friends with this other girl. now that girl and i are best friends and that guy is one of our buddies. he always teases me by saying stuff like ur mean, spoiled, etc. but i always yell stop and he just laughs. he like never teases my best friend and always teases me. and he always finds a way to make me mad and when i do get mad at him or say stop, he just smiles and says i'm just messing with u. does any of this mean he likes me? i'm really worried becuz he's a really good friend and i don't want him to like me more than a friend cuz everything would be awkward. sometimes i believe he doesn't but then he always teases me and never teases my best friend. my friends also think he does like me but i just ignore them cuz i want to believe that he doesn't.

I'd say that he probably likes you because that's something some guys do. I used to pick on girls that I liked all the time. If he pays more attention to you than the other girl when you're all together then he has to like you. There's also the chance that your friend is a more serious person and he can't joke with her like he does with you. You can't be for sure until you ask. It wont hurt anybody just by talking to him about it.

He doesn't necessarily like you (hope you don't think that harsh!?), he may not realise that it may be coming across as that. There is really only one way to find out... you may need to sit down with him ALONE (do not have your girl friend there with you!) and have a honest full-on conversation and explain how you are feeling about this and if he does like you you may just need to stipulate that you believe that your friendship cannot get any stronger/ better than it already is. Whatever you do... do NOT let anything get sexual because (trust me... this is coming from someone who knows) it ruins friendships especially when/ if you do in fact get involved with someone else

There could be a chance that he only likes you as a friend, but there is the possibility that he does like you. To avoid making things un-necessarily awkward, just act like you usually do and be sure not to act like your flirting with him. If he eventually asks you out, just tell him that your friendship means to much to you to risk it on dating him. He'll probably respect that and leave it alone.

lol this bout the same thing that happened with me and ma girl. Well i can tell from what you said is that you CAN see your self going out with him, but it would just feel wierd right? Well i say you hang out with him more often and you'll be more comfortable with him and well you might even end up getting married...just saying XD

yup. he likes you. a lot of my guy friends always did that to me and never my girlfriends. and as we got older they started asking me out and telling me their true feelings for me. but they still didn't do the same to my girlfriends.

mabye he's just so used to being such good friends with you that he just treats you like one of the guys. and mabye your friend is to prissy to just be like one of the guys... on the other hand if you like 13 and he is to then he is picking on you because he likes you
