Yes you should go if your interested in the religion, it doesn't mean you have to join them tho. I used to be in the mormon church, but got out of it. It wouldn't hurt to go & learn, I go to different churches all the time just to learn about their religions. Good luck to you.

Wow the love and tolerance from so many non mormons on this answer is just overflowing. What kind of people answer with such answers like I would never make a friend who is a mormon or its not a real religion.... Answers like these are way more telling about the person who actually had the nerve to type them.

I have been invited to other friends churches and I have gone. It wasn't what I was use to and sometimes it was a bit strange, but the people are good people for the most part. Those of you willing to just judge people by the title mormon, which you probably have no clue what that entails I would ask that you look at what you are saying and how poorly that reflects on your own character. It still amazes me that if you bash someone for being a certain race or sexuality or sex then you are immediatly slammed as being a bigot but you can bash someone based on religion and so many people feel they are perfectly justified and accepted to do so. Before you judge a person based on their religion maybe you should take a look at what people could judge you for based on your personality.

I thought that you could not go into a Mormon church unless you are a Mormon I know a friend who got married and they could not get married in the Mormon church because only one was Mormon they could be married in the chapel if they were both the one became Morman none of their family could attend the wedding ceremony
so if invited I would not go I know no other church that disallows people to watch a couple take their vows

I spent several months worshipping and studying with the Mormon. Most that I met were amazing, strong, and faith-filled people. They are only trying to do good in the world. I'll leave the judging up to God. And no, I'm not a member of the LDS church, but I respect them.

I probably wouldn't. Because I believe that the Mormon church is a cult. They didn't like the real bible, so they had to create their own.

Some guy named John Smith (a horse thief) supposedly found magical plates and put them in a helmet on his head and looked at magical texts to translate it into English.

A lot of the Mormon teachings parallel mason beliefs.

I went to church four times, they visited many times, read the Mormon book they have.gave them nice gifts, money.food.drink.Typical Southern hospitality .messed up. I told them of some true miracles Gods spirit had blessed my family with, they immediately got up. as they walked off they called me crazy.I called them, he said again that I must be crazy, that only higher ups in the church . priests. can do miracles. This took place in Jacksonville Florida this past year, this really hurt me.I was really wanting to get back to Christianity.I was very kind to those people, they didn't need to say that to me.I am not crazy, nor or my people who those miracles happened to,Praise God.
so i don't believe i need to answer your question

You mean, assuming they'd allow me into their meeting hall (it's not a church)? I'd go (I'm Catholic) and use their service to point out inconsistencies and errors and the like. Politely, of course. As for their temples, only their own good "card-carrying" members can get in!

Maybe, but I can't imagine they would. I don't have any more use for Mormon mythology than any other, but there's nothing wrong with visiting as long as I don't have to do something weird like play with snakes or butcher a chicken.

No. The Bible is the complete Word of God, without the book of Momron. I believe Mormonism is a cult.

The second is impossible. I would never make a friend of a Mormon.

If a neighbor or co-worker invited me to church, I would simply say that I don't believe in God and that I have no interest in churches. If they kept bothering me, I'd tell them to go that Hell that they seem to adore so much.
