Don't forget....the term "day" for God can mean thousands of years": For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. (Psalm 90:4)....a watch in the night was 3 hours.
Don't let anyone deceive or delude you into thinking that the end is tomorrow. Fundies are more concerned about the end of the world rather than building hospitals, orphanages, nursing homes, etc. to take of those in need. Heck, if the world is going to end tomorrow -- why bother? But that is not what the message of Jesus is all about.

God is doing incredible things in the Earth. Many more miracles have taken place and are taking place today than in the days of the Apostles. I think the greatest works are taking place overseas - Africa, China, South and Central America. I have heard of more miracles, including raising the dead, than I would have time to recount. Just run a search on Yahoo under "miraculous healings" and see for yourself.
Name searches you could try:
Kenneth Hagin
Reinhard Bonnke
Kathryn Kuhlman
William Branham
Smith Wigglesworth
John G. Lake
Charles Price
T.L Osborn
just a few who have had signs and wonders operating through their ministry.

; Acts 2:17, 18, 20.
5 Did this mean that God was going to raise up a whole generation of prophets, both male and female, in the manner of David, Joel, and Deborah, and use them to foretell future events? No. Christian ‘sons and daughters, menservants and maidservants’ would prophesy in the sense that they would be impelled by Jehovah’s spirit to declare “the magnificent things” that Jehovah had done and would still do. So they would serve as spokesmen for the Most High.
