We have lived together for a year and a half. His brother was recently sent home from the hospital after a 4 month stay, and he asked my boyfriend to move in with him to help. He and his brother have not had a close relationship until the last six months, and we have been together for 2 years. Why did he pick his brother over me? I don't know when I will see him again, I don't know when he will move back in...He has only committed to making sure that we have at least one date per month...He won't even commit to a daily phone call! What do I do?

Blood is thicker than water, unfortunately he was never fully committed to you. He is fully committed to his brother, they may not have been close lately but they grew up together adn have the much of teh same life history.

"Moving in" can be a red flag that there is something in your relationship that means one of the two of you is not truly committed to the relationship (usually the guy).

Talk with him seriously, do you want to commit to marriage, does he. Can you handle his family? Or is it time to move on.

Get a new boyfriend, if that's what you have to have in your life. Stop depending on guys to complete you. This would be a great time for you to see what you can do for and by yourself. Woman Up, dammit!!!
