My heater, air and heated seats all went out in my Limited 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had the fluids checked but not sure what wrong. I know that Chrysler recalled all 2003 with the same exact problem but not 2002. Anyone have any ideas?

first thing to check is the fuses, there is a fuse box above the left kick panel, pull out the cover and look in the cover if it is listed.pull out the fuse or test it w/ a test light.if ther is no listing.use a test light and check all indivudual fuses.there is also another fuse /relay box called the pdc under the hood on the driver side i think.open it up and also check fuses.if everything is ok please bring it to a shop or a jeep dealer to find the cause.

You can get a carfax report yourself you just need then vin number of the jeep. sounds to me like its a little high but thats the disadvantage of buying from a dealer. Also keep in mind he will tell you everything you want to hear to get the sale done. From personal experience with 8k you can get a nice ride off classifieds such as auto trader or craigs list, as long as you take someone with you that knows what their looking at. The Private sellers alot of the time are the people that took care of their cars, and are looking for the sale rather than trading it in for next to nothing on another vehicle. I have gone both routes and i paid 4 grand for my suburban from a Private seller and havent had the first problem with it, although i know thats not the case every time, there are some good deals out there.

don't check the fluids for this problem you should check the Fuses. The air, heat and seats are all probably on the same fuse. Fuses are like 6 dollars for a assortment and you can get them at any auto parts store or even walmart
