Color - Orange is orange, but apple is not apple
Smell - Apple smells like apple only.
APPLE was actualy called as "NAPPLE".
Earlier it was "Please give me a Napple"
Slowly it has become "Please give me an Apple".

Old and most common provern about Apple - An apple a day keeps the Doctor's away.

Erich Maria Remark in his novel "Three comreds" said after hearing this proverb "If my hand breaks, how the apple would keep the doctor away !" The answer was "If you eat apple everyday the bones would never broke."

Not sure what GD means (except the swear words, and I HOPE you don't mean that)
What I would write about is to go into Apple and it's symbolism and use in branding-
Symbolic of Sin (Adam and Eve), Symbolic of New York City, Apple records, apple computers, Johnny Appleseed spreading apple seeds and trees across America as a symbol of Americana -you get the picture. I would say something about apples are fresh, crisp, fragrant, juicy, simple and attractive- I would list those as some of the reasons that companies are drawn to them as symbols... good luck- even if you don't use my ideas, maybe this will spark you to think of something

I would interpret it as
" What ever a thing is it is that thing"
In the sense be it human or what ever what ever is seen is same as what the person is. There are no two forms.
