The guy I am in love with loves makeup/hair very much. He lives overseas. Before he left, I wore makup i thought the way he liked for him, but it was different from he wanted. He told me he loved heavy makeup when he was here, but I was trying to ingore it. I was very happy just to be with him. I felt insecure when I worried if he only liked my look with makeup. He told me he lovesmy personality and my face without makeup, but It was hard for me to feel secure sometimes. We were together for 4 months. After he left, I couldn't do anything but emailing him. I finally realized how thick he wanted me to wear and how much he would have loved. I sent him photos of me wearing heavy makeup for him because he told me that would make him happy. I regreted I couldn't do what he wanted me to and it's too late now.He believes I did that to hurt him after I explained this to him many times. He wants to leave me. I don't know what to do except hoping we can be happy again.

I dont' know how you could subject yourself to such a painful and lonely relationship. I admire you for your strength and commitment to this guy, but I think you aren't having YOUR best interests in mind. If you love him so, you need to let him go to be honest in this situation. A lot of guys really like women to wear a lot of this and do a lot of that, but the biggest problem here is that it seems he doesn't have a lot of time to dedicate to a relationship.

make up is the issue he has with you? i mean is he all there in the head? it sounds like he looks at superficial things. i say start dating and i honestly mean that. that isn't right, it sounds like he needs to be the one to wear it if he's got such a fetish about it. you need to be yourself no matter what he likes. if he's serious about likeing your personality then all the petty stuff won't mean anything to him. good luck though because it sounds like he cares more about your looks than your feelings, that's why you feel so insecure. you feel insecure because he's giving you a reason to.

You need to be Who you are with or without make up hair ect he sounds like an idiot to me i would never take any REQUESTS from a man on how to wear my make up hair or dress .. if he doesnt like me for me too bad his loss NEXT!!!!

I think you two are better off as friends, and it's his lose, because he only would like you for how you looked. You are better off on your own.
