About 7 years ago I had a carseat for my son who was one, it came over the head now we have 5 point systems? How come they don't make the others any more? I loved those!

The 5 point harness is much safer for the baby if there is a car accident

They are always improving carseats and coming out with new models.
I guess the "over the head" thing just wasn't cutting it so they came out with the 5 pt. harness ones.
Actually, I think the "over the head" ones are still on the market. Check at Sears or Target.

Because they have been proven to be not as safe as the others, in crash tests they are not safe, and better technology has come out since 7 years ago.

I think it is a safety issue- the little guys hitting the bar in front of them and such. I think the newest ones are just as safe.

Those aren't safe....so they replaced them with ones that were.
I liked them too!
They changed the designs because of crash test results.

So they can sell new ones the car seat industry ''works with'' the safety standards people and will, every few years, change the designs. They know that no one will ''risk'' their children in an obsolete design! Do you under$tand???
