He should be just fine..Just make sure he keeps pooping as normal, and if he becomes overly constipated, (can't go for more than a day) check with your vet.

I went through this same thing when I first got my dog a couple of months ago--he ate a box of chicken pieces. My sister who's a veterinarian said this was dangerous, so I stayed up with my dog all night. At around 3:00 am I thought I saw him behaving strangely so I called the emergency clinic. The nurse there said wait until there is vomiting or diareha (sp?). In the meantime, she told me her own dog had eaten a whole chicken a couple of nights earlier. My dog ended up with no ill effects, and I felt a little foolish when it was all over. Chances are--dogs have survived much worse--I guess I can just say--been there, done that!

If he only ate the meat, and not the bones, just keep an eye on him. If he starts having a painful tummy, or starts vomiting or having diarrhea you should take him to a veterinarian. But if he only ate a few, and didn't eat bones he should be okay, if no problems arise.
If he did eat bones, this is a different problem. I would take him to the vet just to get examined. Also just keep an eye on him. Watch for any vomiting or diarrhea. If this occurs, it is an emergency, he could have a blockage in his intestines, which can be deadly if not taken care of Right Away.
Good luck, i hope your dog is okay, i hope he doesn't have any of these problems.

You should try to keep these items away from your pet in the future. Not only can eating object such as these cause intestinal obstruction or perforation, but it can also cause pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) which can be equally as dangerous. Both are very expensive to treat and can be fatal. Not anything you can do now, except wait to see if there is any vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and watch to see if he becomes painful. If so, he will need to see a veterinarian pronto.

The worse that could happen is diarrhea or constipation. Nothin really to worry about. Dogs are carnivores. Just look at wolves when they devour carcasses--including bone. Just make sure he has lots of water.

No. Things will work out. Chicken wings are not even that bad. It is the chicken legs with the hollow bones that can splinter and perforate a gut that are the problem.
