Ok here is a good question, can someone actually become addicted to chatting?

YES!
You can get mentaly addicted to just about anything.
With messageing its the instant gradifacation of being able to talk to sombody about anything and everything to get it off your mind 24/7
its mentaly addicteve because you dont have to deal with things on your own.

yes if you are always on it, and do nothing else, and it interfers with rest of your life. Then yes you have become addicted to yahoo messenger. I have a hard time remembering to sign in a lot of the time.

no i doubt it ,that is a daily chore maybe ,to keep up to date ,but Yahoo answers is different .it has these damn points driving people on .its rediculous ..you wont see me falling for that cheap empty carrot .
