Does anyone know of a good reason you shouldn't use Pantene products on your hair?

Yes, do you really beleive the models on the commercial are really using the product? They get paid and are styled by professionals who don't use OTC hair products, unless they're paid to. All OTC hair products are made with cheap ingredients so you don't pay much. They put more into the ad campaign than the product. They either strip your hair or coat it with wax.

It will dry ur hair. I used it. My hair is frizzed even worse. Even the hair stylist have heard many complains abt pantene products

Basically I've heard that it only provides a deep cleansing of the hair but adds nothing else that they advertise on the box/bottle. One person I've heard of has actually had there har become worse as a result of the product but they had used proffesional products before using that.

i used to use pantene and it dried my hair out and made it all frizzy,i think pantene is a really strong shampoo in that it cleanses thoroughly and removes all oil from ur scalp and this weakens the roots of ur hair.try tresemme

When I use Pantene shampoo and conditioner, my hair gets really oilly. If you take a shower before you sleep, when you wake up your hair is really flat even when you brush it, comb it, etc. It's supposed to make your hair volumed.

I actually heard that if you use pantene shampoo it strips your hair colour if you dye it of course =]

I've used it before but wasn't a big fan. I've never heard any reason not to use it though. My hair dresser told me they spray silicone on the models hair in the commercials to make it that shiny.

When i used it it left a waxy build up in my hair and on my scalp after a few shampoos.

My hair stylist told me that it has wax in it to make your hair shiny, and it builds up, i dont really kno why its bad for it but thats what ive heard...
