We have a puggle and when we let her out (crate training) she thinks it time to sprint through the house. We have a section off area in the back of the house for her to play and also have a area outside for her to play, but when we let her in the rest of the house she constantly trying to sprint through the house.

We have told her 'no' and we have made her take times out. We have put her on a leash, but nothing is working. She will not calm down, when let into the rest of the house.

By the way, she is a pup and she is 7 months old. Please help, we want to let her have more freedom in the house, but the running thing has to stop.

It's not too early to start teaching the pup : you need to have your leash on before you leave your crate. When you have her leashed you'll be able to control her pathway through your house until you get outside for exercise and fun!
Many of my fellow Agility friends do this. We have what are called "criteria" for opening the crate door. Mine are : the pup must not be dancing or fussing for me to even approach the crate. When I extent my hand to the door, she needs to sit. I will open the door if she continues to sit, but sometimes she breaks into a dance, so the dor stays closed and I back away to try again. When she's still, and sitting, I will open the door. If she continues to sit, I'll put on her leash and collar. Then, I'll step away while holding the leash and say, "OK!" which lets the pup know it's time to come out!
Remember that dogs will not learn this sequence by magic. You need to pay them for the behaviors that you want, and if they do something you don't want (try to push out of the crate, won't sit, start to bark, start to dance, etc) you just wait them out. Dogs will learn very quickly when they are rewarded and reinforced for the "good stuff" and when the undesirable behaviors are ignored.
You may want to do a search for "really reliable recall" on Google. Work on teaching your dog that you are the most reinforcing thing out there.

You could close the doors of the rooms you don't want her to go in. But she is a puppy, puppies run and play, this is normal. She'll calm down w/age. Another suggestion would be to take her for walks and wear her out a little bit so she wont have the energy to run around that much when at home. Remember that you're supposed to play w/your puppy daily, at least 30 minutes a day is what is recommended.

make sure that she is put outside when she first comes out of the crate. so she can run off some of her energy before you let her loose in the house. also play with her . Have you taken her to obedience training or agililty training might help her use up some of her energy. you did not say what kind of dog she is? some breed of dogs have more energy than others.

First read Cesar's Way by Cesar Millan to help you understand how to make your dog more balanced and less hyper. Next, take your dog for long walks EVERY DAY!!! Puggles are very high energy dogs, and without an outlet, they go a bit nuts. An area for her to play isn't enough, and letting her out in the yard isn't enough. She needs to go for long walks!!! Esp if she gets no chance to exercise, and then you keep her cooped up in the crate, it's no wonder she goes tearing around!!! Expecting otherwise is like expecting a 5 yr old child to stay in his room all day without causing any trouble-- day, after day, after day... You have to find a way to meet her exercise needs, or find another home for her. You both will go nuts and you won't like each other very much otherwise. Good Luck!!

You exercise your puggle alot because with all this excitement in the dog. When you put a dog in a crate you build up anxiousness and excitement. What you want is a clam dog right!?? So you exercise the dog. And when not home keep the dog out the crate and close a door and give him a couple of toys that she likes(I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND CRATE TRAINING)

A few suggestions:
Baby gates
exercise your dog outside so it doesn't go wild inside

Your dog is a puppy and it's going to be hyper for awhile. Pugs are known to have spurts of energy and run like that. I'm not sure if hyperness is typical of beagles or not.

Baby or pet gate that you can step over until she gets the idea. My 3 Lb. chihuahua has the run of the house, even steps up to my bed. That's why he's named Boss, I guess.......this is him, by the way. Enjoy your new family member!!!
