Reason being is because my stomach acts up every now and then, but I can not tell if it is actually nausea, bloating, or something else. I don't have the urge to vomitt even though I know that would make it feel better. But for example tonight I have a pizza for dinner, and a few minutes later I just felt awful. Like I could throw up, but I took some Mylanta, and felt a little better. This was like 5 minutes after I ate the pizza. Can food hit you that fast? I'm taking it that it was something I ate. But again, how can you tell if your nausea?

Looks like Indigestion to me. Any time I have a lot of carbs like pizza or pasta and help my self to it too much I feel the same way. I wanna throw up but my body won't I just feel bloated and semi sick. I take some Pep to dismal. It helps. But as for the vomiting. I know for me and a few others that your saliva Taists different. More salty. Bye,.

Are you lactose intolerant? That may account for your feeling ill after the pizza with the cheese on it.

Nausea is a churning, bubbly feeling in your stomach and you feel like you are going to throw up. You may also feel dizzy and light headed with nausea.

Start keeping a food diary and see exactly what you eat and how you feel afterwards and maybe you will see a pattern. Like when you eat spicy foods, you always get sick feeling. Or you eat anything dairy and you start to feel sick. That will help you avoid those foods or at least be prepared with some Mylanta or Tums. Usually Mylanta and Tums help with excess stomach acid. You may want to try something like Pepcid or Prilosec and take it everyday for a few weeks and see if that helps.

Nausea is a sensation felt in the stomach. It usually precedes vomiting but may be experienced after vomiting or alone. It is sometimes accompanied by pallor, cold, clammy skin, increased salivation, tachycardia, gastric stasis, diarrhea and swallowing movements. Bloating is a feeling of fullness or tightness. Nausea is a sick to the stomach feeling. Big difference.

As far as your question "Can food hit you that fast?" Normally, no, but I have no idea how fast you eat.
