It does to an extent, like leaving it on for an extra 10 minutes would be ok, but anything longer than that would weaken your hair and dry it out. Look at it, it's chemical processing of your hair. They recommend a time to leave it in as leaving it in longer can severely damage your hair.

It does intensify, but I would go with the instructions that are inside the box. Regardless of how long you leave the dye on your hair, eventually the grey or your natural hair color roots will show and you're gonna have to color your hair * ALL OVER AGAIN*

NO, it does not...once you mix the color and apply it to your hair and the color is processed, thats it...leaving it in your hair for a longer period of time is just a waste of time, because its no longer doing anything after the process time is up..

No! constantly carry on with classes on the hair dye p.c..! Hair dyes incorporate bleaches & if left on for too long they are in a position to burn your scalp + harm your hair! the colour won't substitute however the well being of your hair & scalp will!

the reason box color is able to penetrate in to the hair is because it has peroxide in it. the peroxide opens the cuticle so the color can enter. after 30- 45 min of the peroxide being exposed to the air it loses its power and the cuticle closes after the cuticle closes it will not absorb any more color. end of story so no it will not help to leave color on longer it will just dry your hair out really bad because i almost forgot to mention that peroxide is what is in mo acne treatments because it dries them up. If peroxide can dry your skin ou just think of what it could do to your hair!!

It definitely does. It also helps the color stay on longer. However, be careful not to leave the color on for too long because it can damage your hair.
