shows an interest in my life-what i am doing
tells me about people in his life and their problems
tries to impress me by telling me embarassing stories about himself
pulls jokes on me and tricks me
smiles when we talk and i have caught him glancing at me a few times and one time he was talking to someone else and wouldn't stop looking at me.He also looks to see my reaction . What do you think. does he like me

OBVIOUSLY he LIKES you. Does he want a relationship with you, maybe maybe not. Not one of these "signs" points to him wanting a relationship with you, but if he didn't like you he wouldn't be bothering with you at all. You need to learn the difference between someone LIKING you and wanting a relationshp with you.
