Though I may be upset I would figure I moved/decided too slowly. I would hope the person who got the car was happy with the prize.

I would have been completely PO'd, but at some point my sadness would turn me to a new quest for another love... but I would always keep that special place for that one. If it really isn't the "last car in the world" then I would find it again and buy that one. Life goes on :) Best of luck!

Last car in the world!? I'd be mighty upset considering I'd have to walk or take my bike to work everyday. And I work 20 miles away. Unless there are still motorcycles or scooters. Then I'll be fine.

Well I know it isn't the last car in the world. So I would say it wasn't meant to be and look for another.

relieved that the Goddess and the Fates kept me from making a bad move.
What kind of car are we talking here? 1970 Cuda Gran Coupe with a 383 and the very rare air conditioning option? 1955 Gull Wing MB?

if it's a new car, have your sales person locate you another one. most have a twin somewhere in the world, and they are pretty commonly traded between dealerships. as to how i would feel, i'd feel like i should have acted faster and not procrastinated!
