the only problem you might encounter from using unripened bananas in a smoothie is that it might cause you to run to the bathroom... they cause diarhea

Yes, but it will not taste very good. Bananas can be bitter and have a weird taste if they are not ripe. If you plan to do it right now, you will have to add some sweetner, like honey. If you can wait until tomorrow, put the bananas in a brown paper sack in a warm place overnight. They should be more ripe by tomorrow. Hope this helps.

Yes but it won't taste as good. To make a banana ripe quicker put it in a brown paper bag on top of your refrigerator it will ripen over night...

You can but it taste bitterish and raw it's best to have a ripe not to over ripe banana.
