egg and beer, apparently. I think they mean wash you hair in it, but I drink the beer, I find that's better. Then you find you don't care about your hair, really

I read this in this months January issue of seventeen and I tried it and it really works! First u boil 2 cups of water with the peel of 1 orange finely chopped. then remove from heat and let it cool off for bout 30 minutes. Then blend that liquid in a blender on low for a min. or so. Then add 1 tsp olive oil and 1 tbsp apple-cider vinegar. Add 1/2 of a RIPE avocado that's peeled and mashed and blend the entire mixture for 2 minutes until totally smooth. Apply to ur damp hair and leave on for bout 20 minutes. Then rinse out and do regular shampoo and conditioner! good luck with it!

Homemade products that will keep your hair in tip top shape are avocado...leave in as a conditioner for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly...olive oil...use as a deep conditioner, wrap a warm towel around your head for 15 minutes, then rinse. If you are looking for a quick fix, there are organic root stimulator products called hair mayonnaise and carrot oil made by Namaste Laboratories. They work wonders.

My mother's old trick, which works very well on my course/dry hair, is to warm up some olive oil to body temp and apply to your hair like you would any other hair treatment. However, since it does stain a lot, you might want to wrap your head in plastic-wrap to avoid drips. We always let it sit on for at least 15 minutes, and then shampooed out with a mild shampoo. It leaves your hair silky smooth!

There's a great, inexpensive product called citrishine....I use it all the time to make my hair shine. It's only like $3-4 a bottle and it lasts for a long time because you only use a tiny bit!

Mayo is really good for your hair the cholesterol in it. You just put it in you hair and let it sit for a minute or two then you wash it out. Or egg whites do the same thing as well. Good luck.
