i'm doing a reasearch paper for school and i need some advice and answers on what makeup, mainly foundation does to your skin!! help!!

It can if it's oil based, which nowadays most aren't. Also, remember that any foundation creates a film over the skin, therefore not letting it breathe, so wash off the foundation as soon as you get home.

yes it clogs your pores and you need to always always use a moisturizer underneath that fights blemeshes. there are also many foundations that are lighter and have blemish/acne fighting medicine. Most of all to avoid it all wah it off and clean your skin with a 3 step which really cleans youre skin suh as the clinique 3 step or at target the almay 3 step. get acne fighting or oil free. oils cause acne to . they have oil sheets you can buy that you dab on your face to remove excess oils. and biore sells strips that clean out your pores of dirt, puss and other residues. im a makeup and skin care major and i work at a skincare center. for your homework or personal needs feel free to email me with all questions.

properly I have the same journey immediately my skul is kinda nerdy skul practically the entire skul don positioned on makeup yet i do each and every of the time before everything i believe the same way like u do now yet i no longer concern abt that. properly u can say makeup provide u constructive, now i don care abt different individuals cuz i no what m doing n m particular i am going to't make it over the line. i assume that u new to makeup u ought to start with beginning n mascara first cuz eyeshadow n eyeliner are fairly problematical don no if different ever journey this yet even as i began to apply colourful shadow ( vivid hue) i exploit pinky red n appeared like my eyes are swallowed so b particular u no the right technic practice makes perfect if u can't do it precise before everything yet u'll b better as time flies

If you wear make-up always wash your face before going to bed. This keeps your pores fresh for the next day. but if you like to keep your skin young wear as little as possible. That is my advice. good luck on your paper

yes some foundations do cause breakouts when you don't get the right type of foundation right for your skin. Some foundations actually have acne treatments in it. like neutragena.

Foundation is a pain. I think the liquid and creme breaks me out the worse. I use creme to powder and powder, I have fewer breakouts.

Yes it can. Sometimes you can get skin irritations from the make up cause you are allergic.

its not wearing them make up that causes the break outs.its not washing it off properly.unless ur allergic and need to try a few different brand names,

most foundations these days are noncomedogenic so it won't clog your pores so as a result breakouts are rare.
