My husband has a very soft voice and is ALWAYS being asked to repeat himself...he's not shy, it's just the way his voice is. When he tries to talk louder, he actually sounds funny, because it's just not natural for him, so what he has learned to do is to talk more slowly and deliberately, and people are better able to hear what he says.

JUST TURN ON YOUR CAPS LOCK! Kidding... it's the kind of thing you have to practice, some ppl are too loud and need to learn to use their "inside voice" so just keep trying, soon it will be second nature to you and no longer a problem. Just try speaking up until you sense others think you're too oud. Trial and error.

Well, there is something you can do technically speaking. Something we do in radio is speak in what's called "chest voice." It resonates from the chest, and most everyone has used it before. Drop down into the chest and take the stress off your vocal cords, and you should sound louder.

Black human beings talk loud. i do not study about adverse. those who come from a larger social classification have more effective practise in manners for one element. and human beings from the decrease training may be somewhat uncouth, yet no longer all of them. a number of it has to do with the point of intelligence too and how properly they could mix in with the middle classification. and that i might want to guess that some adverse older human beings can no longer discover the money for a listening to help might want to talk loud... and those who artwork in factories for decades with loud kit, have a tendency to yell too.

I guess you have to practice talking on a tape recorder to hear yourself. It is a great tool for improvement. Also try to build your self esteem by volunteering and community service. Good luck
