No. Jesus would never waste his time on such evil garbage. Watching violence against humans or any being or thing is more damaging to your soul than watching sexually exciting media. If you desire true peace on earth, you should only think and view media that shows the sacred values of all humans; as each is a divinely beloved son of God. Teaching secular "human rights" has been a failure; but teaching Divine-Human rights that all humans are of value to our loving Father God will eventually greatly help to transform this world. On devils, demons, evil spirits, etc, Jesus Christ overcame them all way back in A.D. 30. Since then they have zero power to influence any humans. If humans do evil, that is only because they chose to do evil out of their own sinful nature. Believing in evil spirits or watching such scenes in horror movies is to deny that God is the all-powerful Sovereign and that Jesus' words in John 12:31-32 do not apply. Deep Truths are in John 12:31-32. There are criminal acts committed by some weak-willed humans who got their ideas from horror, war or violence movies, video games or books. They should all be banned.

For what purpose? If you are a follower of Christ, what purpose is there in watching a 'horror' movie? Is it not out of place?
Be very careful, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most out of every opportunity, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15)

In all of my years in Lutheran Sunday school, church, and Confirmation class--I was never told that watching horror movies was wrong. In my adult years when raising my children as Catholics I never heard it there either.
There are a few denominations of Christianity that don't allow any movies, any TV, any dancing, etc. etc. etc. That is not the average Christian denomination.

Ironically, Jesus Camp was the scariest movie I have ever seen. It was a documentary. That upstanding Christian Rev.Ted " Crystal Meth " Haggerty was in the movie.

I'd try Halloween, and just the Scooby-Doo reruns if you're looking for something devoid of graphic sex and violence (though Fred and Daphne are always off doing something sordid, I'm sure)

It is never ok. God tells us to watch what we put into our minds, satan can use it against you later with fear, etc. It creates bloodthirstiness, and you eventually become numb to evil.
The side of you that you give into the most, is the side that conquers you, good or evil .
