Genesis 4:17 says, "Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Who was his wife? It is implied in the biblical text that Cain married one of his sisters. Several facts lead us to this conclusion.
First, it is clear that Adam and Eve had a number of children. Genesis 5:4 says, "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Since Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and since God had commanded them (and their descendants) to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), it seems reasonable to conclude that Cain married one of his many sisters. It is also possible that he married a niece or even a grandniece.
One must keep in mind that in the early years of the human race there were no genetic defects that had yet developed as a result of the fall of man. By the time of Abraham, God had not yet declared this kind of marriage to be contrary to His will (see Genesis 20:12). Laws governing incest apparently did not become enacted until the time of Moses (Lev 18:7-17; 20:11,12,14,17,20,21). Hence, there was no prohibition regarding marrying a sister (or niece or grandniece) in the days of Cain.

The Bible does not specifically say who Cain’s wife was. The only possible answer was that Cain's wife was his sister or niece or great-niece, etc. The Bible does not say how old Cain was when he killed Abel (Genesis 4:8). Since they were both farmers, they were likely both full-grown adults, possibly with families of their own. Adam and Eve had surely had more children than just Cain and Abel at the time Abel was killed - they definitely had many more children later (Genesis 5:4). The fact that Cain was scared for his own life after he killed Abel (Genesis 4:14) indicates that there were likely many other children and perhaps even grandchildren or great-grandchildren of Adam and Eve at that time. Cain's wife (Genesis 4:17) was a daughter or granddaughter of Adam and Eve.
Since Adam and Eve were the first (and only) human beings, their children would have no other choice than to intermarry. God did not forbid inter-family marriage until much later when there was enough people that intermarriage was not necessary (Leviticus 18:6-18). The reason that incest often results in genetic abnormalities in children is that when two people of similar genetics (i.e. a brother and sister) have children – genetic defects are far more likely to result because both parents had the same defects themselves. When people from different families have children – it is highly unlikely that both parents will have the same genetic defects. The human genetic code has become increasingly “polluted” over the centuries as genetic defects are multiplied, amplified, and passed down from generation to generation. Adam and Eve did not have any genetic defects, so that enabled them and the first few generations of their descendants to have a far greater quality of health than we do now. Adam and Eve’s children had few, if any, genetic defects. As a result, it was safe for them to intermarry. It may seem strange or even disgusting to think of Cain's wife being his sister. In the beginning, since God started with one man and one woman, the second generation would have no choice but to intermarry amongst themselves
God Bless You

This account was written several thousand years later. The story was handed down by word of mouth. So only the main characters were remembered. Women were never recorded their role at that time was to have babies.
Eve may have and probably did have many more girls than sons. Because of the fact some of the men had two wives.
Possissiblely she even had ,more sons but these were prominient to the story. Take a person at 20 years old by 40 the child is grown and then you start having grandchildren.
The earth could have been full of people they lived 900 years.
In fact shortly there after it is said the earth was full of people.
The storys are not exact or mention every detail only the things necessary to the telling of the story. she could have been a sister or a grandchild of Adam's. Shortly there after he fathered another son Seth. He was 130 years old. In that time he could have had. 6 generations of children. Gen 5:4 says he became father to sons and daughters. Indicating more than just the ones mentioned. He continued doing this for 800 years. Seth was mentioned because he was in the genology leading to the Christ.
As the father of Enosh a prominient player.
Eve was perfect and likely had a child every year.
birth control was not available. Then in 20 years or less those children had children.

Gen. 5:3,4 Adam lived on for a hundred and thirty years. Then he became father to a son in his likeness in his image and called his name Seth. And the days of Adam after his fathering Seth came to be eight hundred years. Meanwhile he became father to sons and daughters. (one of Adams sons was Cain and one of Adams daughters must have become Cains wife. At that time in human history when humans still had outstanding physical health and vitality as indicated by the length of their lives the likelihood of passing on defects as a result of marrying a close relative was not great. After some 2500 years of human history however, when mankind's physical condition had greatly deteriorated. Jehovah gave to Israel laws forbidding incest.)
Gen.4:16,17 Cain went away from the face of Jehovah and took up residence in the land of Fugitive's[or Nod] to the east of Eden. Afterward Cain had intercourse with his wife["know his wife"that is intimately so. KJ, RS;"lay with his wife,"NE]and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch.(Notice that Cain did not first meet his wife in the land to which he fled. as if she were from another family. Rather it was there that he had sexual relations with her to produce a son.)

Constatine held a conference where they compiled the bible as we know it today. Several books were left out that they felt would be confusing or harmful to the image they wanted to convey.
According to several documents there was a book that explained who they married. I believe it was called the book of Jubilee... well anyway to make this short there was incest involved. Which wasn't wrong or disgusting... there were no other people on Earth to procreate with.... They thought that having incest as the answer would offend and disgust most people.

The Bible does not say who Cain's wife is. Eve had other children that the Bible don't tell you about. Except she was the mother of all Humans. It could have been his sister or a cousin.
