Check fluid level? In the transmission? If not then do that, if thats good, then it might even be an electical issue.

first thing to do is check fluid level,do this when the trans.is hot pull out the dipstick and see if the level is w/in the cross grid area.and make sure the vehicle is level.when was the last time you had it service?this trans. need servicing at least every 30k miles or even better give at a flush,this will purge all the fluid in the system and replaced w/ new fluid.there also might be an update for the computer to fix this issue.it is best that you have a dealer check it to make sure that it is not an update issue.if servicing is needed get it done right,this trans requires 2 filters inside the pan,most shop will only replace the felt filter.good luck on your venture.

i own a shop,and i think what you mean is its hesitating ,this will happen when the filter and fluid gets dirty in it or the valve body need cleaned out on it,this is usually the cause of it,i have seen a few cases where the valve body was going bad or the front pump was loosing pressure,but very few cases ,id check the fluid and see if it looks like it might need changing ,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

first check the fluid level and if its low fill it up but you definitely need a transmission flush. your transmission should be flushed every 30k as part of preventive maintenance so stuff like whats happening to you. but with transmissions its worth it to do it that often because the smallest particle of junk can cause the valve body (which is what controls when your transmission shifts) to clog up and not work properly.

the delay in the transmission might need to be checked out, and maybe yk2 is kickin' in finally!! dont blame the company for this, is the millenium bug that is to be blamed!! we must exterminate the pest and of it until the year 3000!!! Rock on jeep lovers!!
