is there a place where u can get ya w-2 from the year before?

First place to try would be your employer at the time. They are required to keep copies of all W-2's. Did you file your taxes for that year? If you had a tax service do them, they retain copies as well. Your other option would be to contact the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. They can get you a transcript of the W-2.

Just ask your employer. They can give you a copy.
