this guy that i've been talking to broke up with his girlfriend about a month ago. and that's how long we've been talking. but it's obvious she still likes him and she said she doesn't want him talking to anyone else. but he said he really likes me and wants to talk to me. the problem is everytime i see him at school they're always walking together or she's trying to hold his hand. and he tries to pull away but it seems like there's somthing i don't know. he won't talk to me when she's around and i questioned him about what was going on between them. he said that he doesn't like her anymore and he's focusing on me right now but he doesn't want to be mean to her and tell her to go away. am i wrong for getting mad? what should i do?

i think that there might be something that you don't know between them... i think that you should just wait for him to finally come to you and ask you to be his girlfriend after he will be done with his ex...... Don't mess with him untill he is compltly "broken up" with her...... just wait.... if his feelings and words are true then he will come.... just continue showing interest in him but don't do things with him like kissing ..... or holding hands.... let him know that he can't have you until he is completly over his ex!Make him respect you

If this young man won't talk to you when (she) is around then he may be using you to make her jealous or the other way around.Boys are everywhere don't waste anymore of your time on this one ,you sound young being in school but please trust me in 6 months this will pass and you will be like what hit me in the head?.Move on and there is plenty more boys who won't humiliate you in front of your peers.I know it's hard but get over it and move on and I'm sure you will not have any regrets later.Young people this is how you learn about guys and relationships and you learn from your mistakes, and this semi-relationship sounds like one of the less painful ones you will learn before you are older and more mature and know what you are looking for in a man and what you want out of life.Good luck in life and not to sound like your mom or anything (I am one of an 18 &20 yr old both girls) and I use to be a girl everything s gonna be ok you wait and see .Good luck young lady there will be sooooo many boys and in 10yrs you probly won't even remember this. Your doing the right thing for being mad cuz its not fair to you. He doesnt want hurt her feelings but wont talk to you infront of her thats a lil messed up!! ok what you needa do is tell him to make a choice and decided who wants to be with. He doesnt have to tell her to go away he just needs to tell her that he doesnt like her and that they should just be friends.

although his answer sounds pretty honest there is the risk that he might still have feelings for her. but if he does, it also sounds like he's really determined to move on and find someone new. help him do that and stop worrying about the ex. focus on forming a relationship with him and then later on if she seems to want to come back in the picture then talk to him about it and make him reassure you of his feelings. but for now things sound good.

Your not wrong to be getting mad. It seems he is tied between to girls. U need to tell him to make up his mind as to who he wants to be with. If u only like talking to him and dont want to be with him then there are plenty of other guys you will like talking to aswell so just move on.

Move on!! its obvious that they still have feelings for each other so either tell him you dont want him talkin to her or kick him to the curb! There are way more fish in the sea!!

If he don't like you enough to talk to you when she is around then you don't need him. Why is he willing to hurt your feelings when he likes you, but wont hurt her feelings and he don't like her? That doesn't make any since. He is pulling you on by a string!! Don't let him do that to you!!! Tell him to make up his mind on what he wants and stick with it! You don't deserve that, nobody does!!!

no, u are not wrong for gettin mad. jealousy happens everyday and if he wants to be with u, then you be with him. just be a little careful since he seems to still have a litle bit of compasion for the other girl

well may b you should tell him that you really like him and then ask him if he feels the same way about you........then if you guys end up going out the other grl will probably get all mad that hes hanging out with another grl but just tell her that you two are togther and that she needs to back up off of ur mann and may b this boy that you really like will stick up 4 you and if not may b he dosnt really like you......... and if you see them two togther then you should talk to him about it and tr and work something out
