I have an awful & painful earache of the right ear?

Question

I have a real painful earache & it so bad that i can't even eat or hardly eat anything & this only started this bad today only.
Is there anything that i do to try to finish off the weekend til at least monday?

Go to the pharmacy and ask them for polysporin ear drops and see if that makes a difference

Not sure if you have a health food store near by that would be open but you can get these things called ear candles. It removes the wax from the ear. This works for me when I have an earache, it is just a build up of wax though. But you could have an infection. You may need to seek medical care. Also have you had a climate change, your ears may need to be popped. Try yawning or chewing gum. Good luck.

this may sound funny to you, but I've had tremendous success with it:
cut an onion in half and microwave in intervals of 10 seconds until it is very warm but won't burn you when you touch it.
Put the cut side of the onion on your ear and tie it there with a scarf. Leave it on until it has cooled.
The juices of the onion are antiseptic, the heat soothes the pain, and the cooling onion actually relieves pressure by drawing out air.

You could have an inner ear infection which needs to be treated with anti-biotics. Go to an immediate care center.

I'd go to the ER. They'll check inside your ear, and if it's infected, they will most likely give you antibiotics to hold you over, possibly a pain med, also.

take some asprin, and put a heating pad over your ear. some people put hydrogen peroxide in their ear, but i don't think you should do that, because it could destroy your eardrum...
