Doesn't matter what religion you pick, they're all based on the same bullshit. If you want to make a postive change in your life, give up religion completely.

With true repentance, there is absolute forgiveness, but this renewing of the mind, by reading the scriptures daily is a must, lest you fall back into sin. Most churches are in apostate right now, because they preach a different Jesus than the one in the Holy Bible, I would know my bible, long before I chose a church, and with prayer, you can know what the bible means, figuratively, literally, and prophetically. Full repentance of sins is the first step to regain that which is precious. Consider visiting a Mormon Church on Sundays. You won't be required to memorize any prayers at all.

Don't allow the name or the many mistruths squelch your interest. Visit and learn for yourself what so many others exaggerate and distort while never setting foot in one of the meeting houses of the Latter Day Saints.

You can go to any Church as long as the teachings are Bible- based. A lot of people are going to find this out on judgment day the hard way. Here are the steps you need to do to cleanse your soul.
1 Admit
2 Repent
3 Believe
4 Receive.
It's that easy. Don't give up, it sounds like you're doing well on the first step.

Maybe you should look into Lutheran. It is similar to Catholic, just not as strict. If I were to switch, that's the way I'd go

PENTECOSTAL IS COOL!!! YA WAVE FLAGS AND BANNERS TO JESUS!!! YOU CAN RAISE YOUR HANDS AND DANCE, AS the BIBLE TELLS YA TO DO!!!

PRAY to JESUS, MEAN IT FROM YOUR HEART, AND HE WILL FORGIVE YOU!!! IT IS UP TO YOU, NOT a PRIEST OR ANY ONE ELSE!!! *** THAT WAS 1 THING I DID NOT AGREEE WITH WHEN I WENT to a LUTHERAN CHURCH & WAS A MEMBER for a WHILE!!!*** ONLY GOD (JESUS) CAN FORGIVE YOUR SINS... HE DOES NOT 'USE' SOME ONE ELSE TO DO IT!!! THEY MAY TELL YOU YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN, BUT IT IS NOT ANY PERSON that DOES IT!!!

You don't go to hell for your sins! You only go to hell for rejecting God!
