I've had them and they're a good way to decide if you want a real tattoo and where you want it. Depending on the size and intricacy of the design, it can cost, but not as much as a real tattoo. Best to go to a tattoo parlor and see if they do it. Or an Indian salon. They do it in NY and can do whatever design you want. They fade gradually and they don't look that bad. and don't use any body oils on the area.

They are Henna. You can design or get a traditional design. They are cheaper by far. The most I've heard of the costing is around $20 or so. But definately not more than $50. Plus if you don't like the design after it's done at least you aren't stuck for life. Only another month or so. Call local tattoo shops and ask about Henna options or look in your yellow pages for Henna Tattoos.

they are experimental. they are not available to the public yet as the ink is still being tested. its also only available in black at the moment because theyre still testing the other stuff. This ink has only been around for a short time and has no long term testing.
The ink is encapsulated in small plastic balls (PTFE made form Teflon) suspended in liquid that break down naturally in your body. My main concern as an artist is that there will be plastics released into your body that could be carcinogens in the long term. Also what do you plan to do if only part of it dissapears???
The idea behind a tattoo is that its permanent, if you want something temporary go get a stick on because it will mean just as much to you if its going to come off in a bit anyways, just far less dangerous.

I had a henna tattoo done in Camden a few years ago. It lasted about a week and cost about £20. My mate also had one done but hers came off very quickly. Also you have to be careful incase you are allergic to it. I have seen people in markets doing it - I thin it is a case of looking around or knowing someone who knows someone. And yes you choose the design you want.

Not sure about tats that last for monthes but check out temptu.com they are a pro brand. Practically anytime you see a tattoo in a movie it's there products. They have really great products for cheap. Tattoos can last weeks with proper care but are totally removable.

You can find the artist at amusement parks. Also ask your normal tattoo parlor if they do it. They start to fade, and you suppose to cover them-up when you take a shower. They are cheaper then real one. approx: $25. and higher

I don't know what's the deal with them.. all I know is that I wouldn't get one cause they seriously look aweful when they start fading away. You would have to hide the spot where you have it until it totally goes away.
