Ok how many guys like tomboys. I am a country girl, rodeo girl, I'm in the Army, I own a farm, paintball lovin, camping, playing poker, hunting, fishing, all kinds of things, kind of girl. But sometime like to be girly. I'll get all dressed up and have some fun just alone in the bed room. I'll even get dressed up and go to the movies, or to dinner, or some place like that. Every time I date a guy they tell me I'm to boyish, and/or to wild one even said I was to much fun.
I'm just about ready to give up on guy and dating all together.
Please Help

hey, there's nothing wrong about being a tomboy. dont give up!!!!! there are millions of guys out there who would love to be with tomboys. dont give up. you just didnt find the right guys yet. I used to be a tomboy and felt the same way you did. i had lots of guy friend though. it was not until my senior year and into freshmen in college when i became completely girly. Nowadays, I've been observing many teens around my. My cousin is in high school right now and is a tomboy. Many guys like her and I was so surprised. She's pretty but she likes to dress in baggy clothing because its comfortable, she plays softball and soccer and she does not wear makeup at all. But, when she dresses nicely for to go out to the movies or church....guys are after her and when she tells them her hobbies (doing guy/tomboy stuff) they seem to even like her more. She's lucky to have guys coming after her though she's really hard to get...hehe. You will find that guy who will love you for you. Dont let any guy make you want to change. I still have some tomboy in me too. Just keep on going out there and make new friends. My best friend's boyfriend has an older sister who is a tomboy and is also in the army. She's now married.....wells, my point is just dont give up on dating...you'll find someone :)

I'm not a guy, but here's what I think: depends on the guy, depends on the girl. Some guys would feel weird around a tomboy -- they'd be fine as friends, but think it would be kinda awkward to be more than friends. And some girls who are tomboys are the type that a guy could see as a friend and as more than a friend, and some aren't. Some guys might think it cool to be able to have a relationship with a girl who also shares interests and personality type, so it really depends. But don't let the fact that she's a tomboy stop you're friend for trying to get with her guy. It could work out, and she'll never know if she just thinks he won't like her since she's a tomboy. Don't give up on who ya are and what you enjoy. I personally don't like a Tom Boy, something about being a man makes me want to impress women with my abilities. Keep looking, your best bet is to find a man who enjoys the same things. It really matters what a guy looks for and if he's looking for a life partner I'm sure if you enjoy the same things you'll be a perfect match.

I prefer feminine ladies, so tomboys are completely out for me.
It's like, why would I want another dude around when I can enjoy a nice evening with a lady?
Of course, there are A LOT of desperate guys out there who will go with anything with a pulse, so....

I like tomboys I think most guys like girls that are into the same things they are you don't need to give up you will eventually find someone who can do all that stuff with you and still know when to treat you like a lady.

If it's a girl who doesn't mind sitting down to watch a game, drink a beer, doesn't need to spend $500 on a purse or sunglasses, then yeah.
If she dresses too much like a guy and doesn't maintain any kind of "girl" image, then the cons outweigh the pros.

i love girls like that, i don't know, but they melt me, i play basketball, and when i see a girl in basketball shorts with a pony tail, and playing hard, that i like, for me that's sexy, with a girl like that you don't need guy friend, you know what i mean? girly when needed, like at nights when you are out to eat, and a tomboy to do all those fun activities, a complete girlfriend that would be for me.

listen stranger we guys dont want a girl acting like a guy and being too aggressive i know its hard but try to be more feminie, notwitstanding there are some guys who will love you the way you are just be yourself and dont become a lesbian it will ruin you

I imagine like most guys I don't like women too fat on one side of the spectrum to the other. I wouldn't like to go out with someone who was constantly worried about their appearance, wouldn't do anything "manly" at all, spends all of their money clothes shopping etc. At the same time I wouldn't want to go out with someone who acted like my male friends.
