At this point I'm not ruling out any party ..I'm just looking for "one good man" or woman.. lol. I too am afraid for his chances ..but ya never know.

sqwirlsgi. I have to admit I do not know everything about the man..however HAVING an agenda is important to me...the rest ..so far...don't seem to stand for a lot of ..anything..I do agree with what I DO know so far..

Hick,This is not the same America it was in 2004. The solution is not so complexed...I dislike the 'generic" we can't just deport 12 million people...No but we can knock a dent in it. US and Mexico "working something out that benefit's both"..face it .. that is the proverbial "heads I win tells you loose". We loose no matter how it goes. Trusting an immigration lawyer ..not an option.
Mountains out of molehills ?? Ya think? I do agree with the " no voting, no free services"
Lastly it will be a cold day in He!! when I agree with ANYTHING that comes from the mouth of Ted Kennedy. He has not completed a rational thought in years.
DAR I'll check it out. I too am still looking.

I've started looking into Tancredo's positions on the issues, and so far I'm really liking what I see, especially his postitions on immigration. I'm even considering getting actively involved in the campaign, something that I have never done before. The candidates that media have decided are our "top Republican candidates" leave a lot to be desired from a conservative perspective. I think he has an uphill battle ahead of him, however, because he just does not have the name recognition at this point in the game, which will certainly affect his ability to raise funds. Go Team Tancredo!

Tancerdo runs he wont make it to nomination because the republicans lost because of hardline immigration stances in some districts. Immigration reform is needed actually, and solution is complex, and you cant just deport 12 million people like Ike did back in the 1950s because society is lot more complex, and removing 12 million will effect 50 plus millions Americans that interact with them every day, and some married, and have close freindships with those people. Also, yes they did break laws, and not follow rules.
A person who is a immigration lawyer will tell you the immigration law are complex, and laws in the books does not address the migrant flows from Mexico it never did. If 911 never occured the issuse would of been resolved, Fox and Bush would of worked something out to both benefits. Instead, were making mountians out of molehills now here. Anmesty, should be discussed last, but first needs to be guest worker program, but with rules like no voting, no free services. Tom Tercedo makes getting to the solution harder, while Jeff Flake, Ted Kennedy make getting to the solution that is more realistic, and better off for the long term.

Tom Tancredo has a problem: Agenda-Driven Media (boundless rascals, they are)

Whether they're liberal or conservative, bitmap or 'X86', girraffe or kumkwat, the billionaire owners of media outlets providing the daily news to the U.S. are driven by ONE thing? Call it the:

Fourth Branch Deficit Disorder

The instant anyone (whoever it was) coined the term "the fourth branch of government" the stage was set for a blind, egotistical disregard for the 'needs, intelligence of' and 'responsibility to' inform rank and file Americans. A disregard surpassed only by the Supreme Court.

Mr. Tancredo, IF seen in context by all voters, would either win or lose based strictly on his merits and views. Period.

That is: if the free press were, in fact, "free"...

u n f o r t u n a t e l y . . .

Unfetered billionaires edit the news we finally see.

Deaths in...(U.S. firefighting?)...(U.S. teachers shot by gang-members?)...(voluntary participants in practices known to be dangersous in the U.S. - drug use...drinking...traffic [43,000+/yr]) ...(voluntary forces in Iraq?)...(involuntary former landowners who've already sold there farms to known drug-smugglers and turn up dead?)... such deaths are of varying importance to the agenda of this "4th-Branch."

And our genuine need for information subjects us to an undeserved turbulence of uncertainty.

Back to Tancredo: I've researched the man. He'd be a good candidate especially concerning his trust for the Constitution and its intended results (though I hope he'll remedy the paper-tiger "need" for fossil fuels that has traditionally haunted efforts for alternatives).

Simply put: He's real.

But nothing "real" guides even the sincerest voters lost & desperate in the fog of skewed information.

Does it?

I'm waiting to see who the American Independent Party over in California is wanting to approve. Tancredo at this time(in my opinion) in the game would be a wise choice.

I have and may vote for him. Look at Duncan Hunter out of CA, too. Tancredo may have too much baggage, however, I am still looking.

I like sqwirlgrls approach, but I think we are going to have to settle for a politician.

it is not enough to make illegal immigration a campaign issue. Tancredo must articulate what his plan for curbing illegal immigration is. If he can do so, many americans, I am sure, even those who are sympathetic to the plight of illegal immigrants, will vote for him.

NO.......I haven't researched Jan.........BUT........
I do watch his "self-loving tirades" and while I think he TRULY cares for Colorado.........he loves himself more.

Is that a good president? (oh that was not meant in a condescending manner........) I want MY president to be completely DEDICATED to the US as whole. Not centered on one agenda.
