For the past few weeks this guy I like has been really sweet and flirty to me.... He plays with my hair, we sit really close, he calls me cutie, he tickles me, and he even made me a mix CD of music that we both like.... Sounds like a great guy right?? The only problem is he has a reputation for using girls.... But my friend who has known him for a while says that he actually like me for me.
Should I go for it with him?
Or once a player always a player??

Okay so the guy is showing you signals that he really likes you. But like you said he has a reputation for using girls? And you said that your friend told you he really likes you for you? Isn't that how it is in the beginning...guy will show you that he's really into you. Is there something about you that he wants? All i can say is...BECAREFUL. Try to get to know him more before you get into a relationship. My best friend went though the same situation as you. She went out with a guy who dated many girls, but he seemed like he was really into her. He was smart, had good morals, and treated her so well. One of her good friends who was also good friends with the guy hooked both of them up. They broked last month and after that my best friend found so many things about him that she could not believe. All i can say is that looks can be deceiving!!!!!! "once a player always a player.." sometimes it aint true, but most of the time it is true. Just try to get to know the guy more before judging him.

I've seen it too many times. The guy who has a bad reputation suddenly starts acting nice and sweet. You wonder if he changed, so you give him a try. He suddenly decides he isn't sure he wants to be "tied down" with a girlfriend and hints that he wants to break up. You don't want to be "single" or you really like him, so he manipulates and uses you any way he wants.
I would be very VERY guarded and not commit to anything with him until he proves he's a good guy.

Once a player, always a player. Don't fall for it. Guys like him take what they want, and leave you there to hang. Keep a close eye on him but guard your heart from getting hurt. I wouldn't bother going for it. Seems like he will continue his reputation of playing girls.

Be careful girlfriend. I did not take advise from someone that knew this girl that wanted to become my friend and now she is married to my ex-husband. Sometimes it is wise to listen to others. If he has a reputation for using girls I would be real careful. Hope this helps

well it depends on how long you known this guy. if got to know you for who you are then don't worry about it. because one thing about a player is they don't waste time on getting to know you but just your booty and if he is actually takin his time its for a good reason ........and no once a player not always a player some grow out of it. just be careful u don't want anything from him,

go for it, but just don’t give "it" up when he comes a knocking.
Make him sweat it out for a few months, if he is really just using you he will probably give up and the you will know. If he doesn't then he might not be using you and really like you.
We may not seem like we can live with out sex, but it wont kill us.
Give it a shot.
