When these visions occur would make diagnosing this easier. If you find it occurs in bed or when you are sleepy then this is probably just your mind wandering and you noticing it more since your conscious mind is "switching off" at the time. This is perfectly normal. However if you are finding that these images are appearing in everyday situations beyond your control (by that I mean you actually believe you are seeing them as oppose to them simply being in your "mind's eye") then you may consider seeing either a GP or a psychologist. The human mind is a quirky thing and unfortunately we have little to no knowledge of how it works and no way to measure it. If you think you may have a problem then go and get it checked up. I will say however that unless you've suffered some major head trauma over the years, chances are you're not going insane.

Like Brad said roll with it. You really can't control them because it is the same concept as in Sci-fi a time traveler can't come back in time to change the course of history. But it can be very interesting to realize you had the vision before it happened.
If you are being troubled by psychotic type things though you need to go to the psych and get meds before you are one of those people that say God made you do something horrible.
Allison Dubious of the show 'The Medium' has visions and she is able to help solve a lot of crimes.

As I lay in bed waiting to go to sleep I have these uncontrollable thoughts and visions, do you mean those? Just Ignore them and eventually you will go to sleep! Also lay of the caffeine!

ya, what are these visions. Sometimes it is good to pay attention to them. I have had a few premonitions. It scared me so i ignored everything. But for me it is slowly coming back. tell me more though.

pay attention to what you are seeing, the future should be intresting in its self, and you will have your own private pre screening, enjoy the view.
