the reason i ask is because im 5'8 and i love to wear heels..so that can bring me up to 5'10 or so...

I'm 6' 2" tall so I don't have a problem with most any girl's height.

Hell no. They should like you for who you are and not for being taller. if he is bothered by it, then he is no good for you.
