NOTHING! Trying to pull them apart will result in physical injury to both dogs. When the male penetrates the female, her vagina gorges with blood to swell and lock the penis inside. This can only be undone by her releasing. Just have to wait.

This is normal. This is what happens when dogs breed. You are not supposed to seperate them. You say you raise dogs, but if you have been doing this before, you should know not to try to seperate them when they are stuck. Like the others said, you need to know more about the whole breeding, whelping process if you are going to breed them. This is very simple and anyone breeding would know that they must tie in order to have pups. This is just plian wrong.

Just let them finish. It can actually harm both of the dogs to make them separate before the muscles in the females vagina relax. Do not squirt them with water, it can cause serious damage and make the tie worse.

GET A BOOK ABOUT BREEDING AND READ IT... or have your animals spayed and neutered since you have no CLUE what you are doing. This is NORMAL. It's called a TIE. They will not separate until the male dog's erection goes down, probably for 30 minutes or so. To try to force the separation is physically impossible for them and would be very painful to try.

And write down today's date, you have 61-63 days from today until you can expect puppies, so get a book about raising dogs and read it before then.

Today's date would be the date of conception. Conception to birth takes 61-63 days.

YOU WANT HUMANE???? GET THEM FIXED!!!!!!!! SPRAYING THEM WITH A HOSE IS MEAN TOO!!!!!!!!

ninny....oh, excuse me....pathetic ninny.
See? I read the whole thing. Happy now?

This is possible as she emits a simliar scent as when she wa in heat - maybe the male confused this. I would keep them apart until the pups are born and then get her spayed ifyou do not want to have another accidental litter

OMG! don't try to seperate them, you could literally break his penis. male dogs have a bone in their penis and you can shatter it if you do that. they will seperate when he is finished, it is part of the mating method for dogs. and if she is already pregnant she would not be in heat and he would not be mounting her, do you mean she just got pregnant in last few days ? the only time you should try to seperate is if it has been more than an hour and ahalf, it can actually take up to this lobg without it being something to worry about.

there's no way to separate them until "she"lets go. they are mating again. are you sure she's pregnant. she will only accept him when she is ready and willing. but during normal breeding, you need to do it a few times. if you try to pull them apart you may permenantly injure the boy......

Well I've never had this type of problem with dogs getting stuck...haha..but just seperate their living space and if they are outside dogs seperate the yard. It may sound stupid by putting a fence in between them but its one smart way. Forced seperation.
Or
to make matters easier just ask a veternarian for tips and what you should do. I called my veternarian and I got a few different answers; a fence is just one way to do it.

dogs get "tied" while mating,if u try to seperate them,u could severely injure one or both dogs and get bitten,as well.please spay/neuter ur pets.80% of animals that are brought to the sheltrs of america are destroyed.please do not contribute to pet over population and the death of unwanted animals.
