I am a fulltime student and I have hardly made any money this year although I did work for 4 months.

You get to take a personal exemption for yourself but no, you can not claim yourself as your own dependent.

If you hardly made any money this year, who supported you? You need to find out if that person is claiming you as a dependent. If someone else provided more than 50% of your support for the year, chances are that they can claim you as a dependent.

If you are providing over half of your own support all year. But, if you are only working for four months, I kinda doubt you are solely supporting yourself. Are you living at home still? I would need more information to answer you correctly. In order to claim EIC without any children you must be between the ages of 25-65, and income less than around $12,000, I believe.
