Yes, you can add a few spoonfuls of apple vinegar to the dog's water dish. It's harmless to the dog, but changes the pH balance of the urine so it doesn't kill grass.

You can also hose the spot down with water or dump a pitcherfull of water on it right after he goes to water it down enough that it won't harm the grass.

No, and if it bothers you that much you should either walk your dog and let it do its thing somewhere else(bring baggies) or hose down the spot after she goes.
