My husband & I got a Kelpie/Blue Heeler (both Austrailian breeds)puppy when she was 10 wks old, she is now 7 yrs. and the best dog that either of us has ever had. Very loyal and protective and smart enough to understand sentences! I am sure not afraid to be home "alone" with her by my side. She is more human than dog!!!

I like any breed of dog but Labradors are great. We have 5 of them at the farm and one dalmation. I have a chocolate lab at home here and he has been the best dog in the world! They all have personality and they seem to learn very well. Pleasing there humans is very important to them!

I have been told that the dog breed that I like is a mutt or mongrel...but I think that a schnoodle is a cute dog...but IF i was going to purchase one I would buy a miniature schnauzer.

An English Mastiff. That's what I have. Her name is Daisy and she's 2 years old and very playful. She's very also smart. Did I forget to mention even religous, she prays with me every night literally. She also can beg, open doors with her paws, fetch, kiss, shake hands, and hug people.

It's a tie!: Cairn Terriers and West Highland White Terriers. I have a Cairn and have had Westies. They are smart and love to play.

Black and Tan Dobermans are my all time favorite larger breed. For Medium I like the Bassethound and for Smaller I like the shihtzu.

I love Labs and Goldens but my favorite is my mix breed dog Leo - he is Golden Retriever and Saint Bernard.
