If you look into history,
Pre-christianity....

Mythra was also born on Dec. 25 to a virgin, was visited by 3 wise men, had 12 followers, was crucified and resurrected and told to come again... this was 200 - 300 years before the "birth of jesus christ" there are also numerous others that carry the same simularities.

do a search for the pharmacratic inquisition, or go to www.gnosticmedia.com there is a lecture you can download for free that will give you ALL the answers you seek to this question.

How can it be exactly like Christianity when it is not based on faith in the same God - the one True God and His Son, Jesus ?

Jesus said that, "no one may come unto the Father but by me".

That religion would not be anything but another sect drawing souls away from Christ and because of that and their rejection of Christ, they would go to Hell.

There is only one name given among men whereby we must be saved - Jesus Christ. You can call the religion whatever you want but if it doesn't believe in the atoning work of Christ at Calvary through His sinless blood - then it is just another dead, unavailing religion. It is the living relationship with God through the blood of Jesus that matters.

No. And God by any name is still God. Even if a religion does not know of or recognize Jesus Christ, if they still practice 'Christianity' by a constant awareness of God, guarding the heart and struggling against sin, then there is no reason to assume that will not receive salvation.

Any religion which is not founded on Jesus and the Bible is false. If you wear the name of Christ, then you follow the teachings of Christ. If the pattern of religion does not follow the Bible, it is not of God. Why would anyone teach Christ, but refuse to wear His name?

I don't believe in hell but it is certain that Christians would condemn it.
