This guy who is two grades older than me likes me and is going to ask me out. I'm really excited because it's actually one of the first times a guy i've liked has liked me back. There's a whole lot of chemistry between us and we have the same interests. What is it like to have a boyfriend? Is it a lot of work to keep up with or is it good to have guy problems off your back for a while? Thank you!

This sounds weird, but the guy likes you because you like him. He wants to show off to his friends that he pulled a chick. it won't last, unless it does. Don't even kiss him or touch him until he proves to you that you are the one that he wants. He'll prove it with gifts and words. He'll sweep you off your feet. The first couple of days, weeks or whatever will be intense! That's the best! When a guy sweeps you off your feet, and he brings an enthusiasm into your world that wasn't there until he showed up. I'm not sure about the butterflies in the stomach saying, but you'lll have a physical feeling that's undeniable. You will think he's the best looking guy on the block, and you will want to be faithful to him. He wants you to be faithful, too or else. You'll argue, because you'll make up. If you're an amateur, you will ignore him and spend time with other guys and flirt because its in your nature. he will still be there because you made either a verbal or unspoken agreement that you were his and he was yours. you just know it when it happens. and you may even get a cheap diamond or a really really really expensive one with smaller ones to go with! you'll love it... gaurd your heart, don't cry and DON'T cheat.

It can be really hard, but it is also one of the most amazing things to experience. It's really great if you guys are friends and have the same interests because once you start dating, you can have so much fun together. But with the romance and chemistry, it will make those times even better! Just be sure to be open and communicate and willing to compromise--but don't compromise yourself. Being in a relationship means letting yourself be vulnerable, so be careful not to get so wrapped up in this guy that you forget yourself as an individual.

I think it depends between relationship to relationship. Some relationships can be a lot of hard work, some can take very little. To begin with, it might be a bit awkward if you don't know your boyfriend too well, but a couple of dates and proper conversations should sort all of this out. Anyway, regardless of whether it's a hard relationship to stay in, or an easy one, you'll probably have a lot of good, fun times together, so don't worry about it too much!

Well, it's the most wonderful feeling in the world when you truly care for someone and...my god...you discover he cares right back! :)
It's not a piece of cake though Sweetie. If and when you develop a relationship, there will inevitably be hurt feelings and misunderstandings.
But if the good times far outweigh the bad, then go for it and have yourself a ball!

Take things easy. Having a boyfriend can be fun. Try to remember not let it change you. Be who you are and let him do the same. If you end up not being a match then, there are others who will fit better.

well..it seems like you guys clicked..and thats the most importnat thing in a relationship...because if you guys have all that chemistry..you dont have to worl extra hard to make it last...
and as long as you guys are comfortable with each thats a plus too!
having a bf..it really feels like having a best friend but opposite sex...so make sure you act who are and dont act like someone else...because he likes you for you ... so dont change...
make sure you understand, listen, and always comment him though...guys like it when their gf compliments them..be sweet..dont be a jealousy type unless you have a reason to be...
bf is a best friend that you like very much who get you nervous..and who you always wana hang out with..
trust me..its not that hard to have a bf..unless he's unfaithful..
just make sure to just be you...and you'll never know...he can be your best friend and boyfriend for a long time...
have fun

every relationship is different so you can't really say what it is like to have a boy friend, or how it will go. so you have to be patient and see what will happen when you get a boyfriend. and how in the world did you find out that he is going to ask you out?
