In your case, I would think that you're worthy of asking anything. You're popular around here.

But then again... "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

Trust yourself.

It's the difference between an activist and a passivist that we're talking about here. Activists will always hurt other peoples feelings but in the end they see it as a better end for mankind. They are willing to make the sacrifices for what they believe in. I encourage you to ask those questions but don't do it just for the heck of it, have a reason and a motive.

Simply put, don't ask a question designed to rile people up and nothing more. Too many people waste WAAAAYY too much space here on that already. Do ask questions that you genuinely want the answer to and accept that the Trolls will come out brandishing their Swords of Stupidty to answer in their own very special ways.

And bless you for your sweetness, but, also, don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and call out someone for his BS. The thought that "I can be as offensive as I want because it's my right!" only carries someone so far. (Usually in the direction of, "I wonder why I have no friends/didn't get that job promotion/nothing good ever happens to me?")

Depends on the question and the intent behind it. I don't come in looking to offend... and I've not seen you do it either. But if you are looking for an honest answer, then ask your questions. If they can't handle it, then they need not answer (though I'm sure they will... with smoke coming out of their ears)... You can't worry about everything you ask. You can't please all of the people all of the time. I rarely ask questions in here. Seems like most of it is covered lol

There are worse things: "Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron" (1 Timothy 4:2). The verse before that clarifies that this, and the rest in the list, are "doctrines of devils." Having a conscience is a good thing, and when you lose it, well, your end is nearer than you'd like.

Hello Pangel. Yes. What I believe is offensive to others at times. I can not imagine however not saying what I believe to be true just because I know someone will not agree. I do try to stay respect full. I think that any one whom cares about others has gone through a similar situation.

Be grateful for your conscience. It keeps you from committing irreparable errors. As for questions, ask away. If you phrase your questions in a reverent manner, you'll receive all the collective wisdom of the participants of this site.
And learn to ignore those people who throw accusations all over the place lust because they don't like being criticised.

Be thankful that you have a conscience. That is what keeps you from strangling your family members. Seriously though there are many answers I have all typed ready to hit the submit and change my mind saying to myself, "that is too mean". So I know exactly where you are coming from.

Everyone has a conscience it just depends if they use it or not, when you summit your question you know you are not out to offend anyone, but sometimes people read your question wrong and do take offence to it. That's just life I'm sad to say

No. You have a voice. Use it, speak out! Too many people are afraid of having their own opinions voiced because they might offend people or make people dislike them but if you don't speak up how will you know your friends are your TRUE friends? How will people know what you are about or what you believe?

Unless your question is *meant* to cause offense, as does happen all too often here, then I don't think you should be afraid to speak. We cannot control the actions and reactions of other people. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be cognizant of it, but if you believe something needs to be said or heard, you should do it with as much consideration as possible.
