I am waiting for my insurance to kick in from my job, but I have not been feeling well and can't afford to go to the doctor. Is there a hotline I can call to get general diagnosis or speak with a specialist to get some immediate advise/assistance with possible treatment.

They have ask a nurse, but I don't know what the phone number is. Maybe 800 ask a nurse, I'm not sure. I do know that it is a 24-7 line though, hope that helps a little.

This phone number is for Ontario residents and you can talk to a nurse for free. I'm not sure if they allow calls from outside Canada though.. but you can try:

1-866-797-0000

Good Luck!
