It's not the only way, and definitely not for losers, that's a childish comment, I have dated a couple of people from a dating site, didn't work out, but I don't consider myself desperate or a loser. I am actually what I consider successful, I own my own small business, am 100% debt free and very down to earth person. The problem is what is it we are looking for and if there is someone looking for the same things. When you live in a town as small as I do, where there are not that many singles in my age group I find it a good place. The only problem is people being honest on-line, in town you can ask questions about a person and kind of know, on line you have to take it by word. I have met people with pictures that were 6 or 7 years old. Looks are not the most important, but you have to have an attraction. I can meet someone with a heart of gold, but if I am not physically attracted it would never work.

It's one of many ways to find true love. I know many of love stories that started from a social website. Love can be anywhere...A friend of mine has been married almost five years to a guy she met online. G Girl needs to get hip to modern technology because the hanging out in bars to find your significant other is long gone.

not the only way but it is an option for people that don't like to go out to clubs and things like that..
I've never considered myself a loser and I have met who I consider to be the only man i've truely felt love for thru an online dating site, Yahoo Personals..
so it is possible but I wouldn't use it as your only option to meet new people and find true love..
