Tonight I found that my husband was searching online for porn....not just regular adult porn videos but he was typing in "teens" in the search field. I'm upset and will have to talk to him when he gets home from work. I'm concerned about this and I"m a pretty open gal when it comes to him watching sexy stuff in a book or something but this is really bothering me - the "teen" thing. I can hardly believe it but I don't really know how to approach him on this...any suggestions? (This sucks big time and I"m almost crying here) What does this tell me really? We are in our thirties and I don't understand why he needs to look at teens...we have a healthy sex life (or so I thought) and I"m hurt and upset. :(

Don't sweat it.
When guys get older, they start worring about - getting old! So they try to deny their older age by chasing after younger women.

A safe alternative to this is to look at photographs of younger women on the internet. As long as there is no attempt to talk to, or worse - meet with, the girls he sees on the internet. Looking is harmless, and it curbs his desire to deny his older age by going out and looking for other women.

If you need more done with this issue, buy Net Nanny and download it into your computer. This will block all the sites he is looking at that you find offensive. You should then sit together and decide which sites he can look at. No since pulling the plug on every site. If you both agree that teens is ok, then that would be fine. You CAN keep him from emailing or chatting with anyone so looking at the sites will be the ONLY thing he will be doing.

Not ok would be looking while you are together. He needs to always show you respect. Give him a private time to surf and look, and handle his denial safely.

I don't blame you for being worried and upset. It will be hard but I think you need to talk to him about it. This is unhealthy behavior. Counselling might be in order.

My heart goes out to you.
