Im agnostic and reject all religion. All of it.

There are so many things western people just dont understand about Islamic culture. Western people use their religious norms as a means of comparison, which is part of the problem.

For example, a core premise of Christianty is the idea that "man has free will" and the test for humanity is whether, given a choice, they will chose Christ.

Islam is totally different. There is no "choice" per se as with Christianty. Yes, you can "chose" to become a Muslim or you can simply "submitt" under duress, as some jews did at the Battle of Badr. Muhammad gave them a choice, beheading or Islam. Eight-hundfed jews were beheaded, but some jews chose Islam, which of course is not a choice.

Heres the kicker. You see, there is no choice. Allah has already establish his law on earth. The fact that you dont accept it simply means YOU are disobeying YOUR law from Allah. So, essentially Muslims are mere policemen trying get the rest of block in order

Azumi conveniently fails to mention that all the Muslim countries and territories were subjugated by force. Populations subjugated by jihad were subject to the system of dhimmitude, or the payment of a poll tax by the native infidel population. In addition they had to recognise Islamic ownership of their land, submit to Islamic law and accept payment of the poll tax (jizya). The enemy makes a payment in return for peace (even the early Muslims recognised the rent will not be paid by reciting the Koran all day.)
By the way for all you history bluffs here are the dates of the different jihads:
Egypt, Palestine 640 to 646 CE
Armenia 642
Cyprus and the Greek Islands 649 to 654
Spain and France 793 to 860 CE
Jihad capture and pillage of Thessaloniki in 904 CE
Armenia Anatolia (Modern Turkey) and Georgia 11 & 12th centuries
Jihad in North Africa and Spain under the Almohads (mid 12 th century)
Jihad conquest of Constantinople
Deportation of the population of Armenia by Shah Abbas I in
1604
Jihad by Yaqub Ibn Layth against the Hindu Kingdom of Kabul in 870 CE
Muslim Devastation of Buddhist Temples and Plight of the Buddhist Community in Northern India during the early 13th Centurry
Jihad slavery in the Sudan - Late 19th Century
Ottoman massacres of the Bulgarians in 1876
Genocide of Armenians by Ottoman Turks 1894 and during WWI
Towns and villages ravaged during teh Seljuk-Ottoman Jihad in
Asia Minor from 11th to 15th Centuriesc
Jihad Slave Raids (Razzias) by the Tatars, mid 15th to late 17th
Centuries ... just to name a few

first of all u must know what the word Jihad means an how many level of Jihad is there
the meaning is to (endure)(e.g if u go to Hajj it is considered jihad, for a pregnant woman here pain is considered jihad, an if she die in labor she goes to haven, battling ur self from doing a sin is also jihad) also it means to serve(e.g when u force ur self to get out of bed or to stop being lazy and go and pray that is jihad)
( also to fight ( like the crusades) in the name of god and peace is called jihad)

also the thing u said a bout u cant choose but u have to be a Muslim is wrong(go read some good books)
fore example during the Islamic empire Muslim, Christians and Jewish all lived to geather even in (al-madinah(a city in K.S.A)) there were Arab Jewish and Christians living there with the Muslims they use to trade. and for ur info: Muslims have something called (Fideah) which is before the fight with a country or when they take hostages they ask these questions:
1)(will u surrender? )the answer is no
2) will u write a peace treaty? ( answer no, then they fight)
(answer yes, then ur country pays a token amount of money and there will be no fighting or converting and both countries will help each other in time of peace or war( and the Islamic country will lend the enemy their doctors and prophesors)..
this is called (fideah).. this is what they did in the past if u read the history.
u don't hv 2 be a Muslim choose what u want..or choose nothing
oh an if u think that all Muslims are bad read the story that happened between(Richard the lion hart and Salah al-deen)

Bible is not revelation and does not claim to be revelation. Luke claims to have written because so many people wrote. The Bible agrees that it is a Hoax and says as much in the introduction in Genesis where there are three sunsets before the sun was created, and this is the Bible's first hint to the reader that it is a trick. You have been tricked by the Bible and remain a hooked fish with the hook in your brain. The Quran is Revelation and claims to be Revelation and never mentions Bible or Jesus or Gospel or Christian and it seems like you have also been tricked by the false translation of the Quran that is currently making the rounds. Please do some studies and research before you wreck your brian with garbage that is presented to you by your parents?

again, go **** yourself. but the meaning of jihad, for future reference, is not holy war. it is actually "to strive"-- as in, to strive in the way of God. the Prophet (pbuh), even actually said that the act of war is one of the lowest forms of Jihad, while the act to reform oneself and become a better human being is the greater Jihad. again, **** you, and most of the ***** that answered this question.
