I mean blacks and whites, arabs and asians, all people dressed in nothing but a white sheet, equal as humans in Gods eye, none above the other, in awe and worship of God?
How much do you know about Islam?

I was trying to draw attention to the symbolism and wisdom found in the Hajj. Also it illistrates Islams view on Racism and Equality.

The Hajj can be seen as a preparation, or a reminder of the day of judgment because all are gathered in reverance of God without regard to financial status or social position or RACE. All are put on the same plain and God is the most high. All recognize and worship God, or feel small in comparison to Gods might.
I hope that I make sence, because I think it is quite beautiful.

No, people are supposed to go on Hajj in Islam if they are financially able to and if they are not too old and sick. Also on the day of judgement, people will be judged for the things they have done on the earth but yes everyone will be equal in the eyes of God. I know a lot about Islam so that is where this infomation is coming from.

What would make you think Hajj was a symbol of the day of judgment?
I know plenty about Islam. It is my faith.
What exactly is your question?
So are you making a statement and not asking a question?
I agree with you it is all those things but where is your question?

National Geographic followed some pilgrims.
One white woman. She was the only white person you ever saw in the film.
One black person. He was excited about a 'raceless' community and was very dissapointed. When he went to tent city, he was thrown in the tiny tents with the rest of the blacks. His naive excitement turned into depression. He tried to rationalize it at the end, when everyone went to the hill to "cofront God" where he claimed to feel a 'oneness" there, but all people were doing was praying to themselves.
Also, you saw that Mecca is packed with poor people. Surrounded by Allah's slum.

Hajj is a form of self discipline which we all go through in our everyday life. Say catholics or christians fast. Jews do the same. non believers give up something for the people they care about. same is HAJJ

I have read that the building in the center of that area is empty. So is the center of any religion.
