Well, if you and your ex still had feelings for eachother, why did you break up? It's not right to dump someone because you still have feeling for an ex. If you still had feelings for eachother then you shouldn't have dated someone else and seen if you two could have worked something out. Now your boyfriend you just dumped must feel pretty crappy because you dumped him for you ex. In my opinion you shouldn't have even dated that guy because you probably just broke his heart. Just think about it, and your heart will tell you what to do.

I'd say yeah. I'm sorry for your boyfriend, but you're sparing him some future pain. He either gets to find out now or later, right? And not suggesting anything about you here, just commenting, but maybe you might've done something in the future with your X that you would've regretted and would have really hurt your boyfriend. You made a clean break, and I tip my hat to you for at least being honest.

That's depends on how you feel. Everyone will have feelings for their ex no matter what. Does it mean that you should have broken up with you boyfriend, because of it, then yeah, if you and your ex are planning on getting back together. But, make sure your feelings are true for your ex and his are the same. Maybe just being single for a while is what you need to do and see how you feel about both guys. Good luck on what your looking for!

only you could go with that, yet ask your self why you broke up with him interior the first position. no one differences, you get what you get! perchance it wasn't straightforward to the recent guy, yet you mustn't sense to blame if the sentiments at the on the spot are not there to commence with. What I finally end up telling people is to write down the experts and cons until eventually you could't imagine of anymore. Then reread what you've written and also you per chance wonder that you extremely do not go with to be along with your ex again. My golden rule is "once an ex, continually an ex!" you could continually be acquaintances even after breaking apart with someone. you do not go with a relationship to sense finished.

You know, i was dating a guy who really loved me and i loved him, but i had (what i though to be) stronger feelings for my ex boyfriend....when my ex wanted to talk and then get back together with me...it didn't last long and I hated myself for ever leaving a better man, and breaking his heart. I talked to him for a while and we tried to be friends, but it hurt him so bad that he moved away...I wish i would have just staied with him. I really do.

No, you were right to break up with him. If you still have feeling for your ex then you should resolve it first.

YES...Look at it this way, you would have been leading him on had you not. If you like someone that you aren't with, it isn't right to stay in the relationship.

yes. you should not be with your boyfriend if you have feelings for your x. Try to sort out your feelings first and then choose.

i think you did the right thing to break up with your boyfriend. it's better to like one person than to like one and hold on to another. if you liked your x than dont hang on to the current boyfriend you have since he like you dont hang on to him it could hurt his feelings.
